Brita stands for filtering — filtering out what’s bad from your water. But we wanted to elevate the idea of filtering. To filtering out what’s bad from your life- negativity, hate, bullying. Leaving only what’s good and positive.
What better place to start our mission of filtering than the one place that needs it the most: the internet.
A simple tool to help you filter negativity out of your Twitter feed.
Removing negativity from Twitter is a daunting task. Brita didn’t want to be a censor, but simply a filter. So we decided the best way to let people start is with themselves. So we created a proprietary algorithm in Twitter, where users can scrub their own past tweets of any negativity, cursing and hate. Making the internet - and the world - a better place, one tweet at a time.

Social campaign aimed at spotlighting the effects of cyberbullying.
Partnering with CyberSmile, a nonprofit cyberbullying advocacy, we profiled survivors of cyberbullying, including Stephen Curry. We told personal stories of learning to filter out the bad to get to the good.
We developed a simple headline structure for Print and reactive social posts that visually demonstrated filtering out the bad and leaving only the good.
Social posts in Twitter, Facebook and Instagram utilized the structure to be timely and reactive to what was happening in culture.
